The National Teach-In Panel was a huge success with over 50 people showing up to learn about the effects of climate change and what can be done about them!  For more information about what can be done and how these goals will lift us out of the current economic crisis go here to learn more.

For example, it would only take solar panels on 7% of the rooftops in the country to power the entire United States!  10 million of those panels would create 500,000 new jobs!

The National Day of Service!  We ran a Necessities Drive outside of the Albertson's on 30th and Hilyard as well as at Sundance and collected 600 pounds of food and basic necessities that will be donated to Food for Lane County.

THANK YOU to everyone who attended the Winter Term 09 Kick Off meeting!  It was the biggest Kick Off in 3 years! (debate is still raging over whether we beat the Lane record or not)
